Eleven Executives from IBM in Greenock took part in an inward programme at the Scottish Parliament.
The objective was to increase their knowledge on how the Parliament works.
The day started with a welcome from Alasdair Morgan MSP in his role as Deputy Presiding Officer.
Sessions on the day included presentations and discussions on how the Parliament works, watching First Minister's Questions, an MSP session on their role in the Parliament and a separate MSP session focused on the work of a Committee Convener.
Paul McNutt IBM Business Process Delivery & Greenock Site Executive said ”Over the years, our engagement with SPBE has been valuable and successful in facilitating ways to increase mutual understanding between business and the Parliament.”
Further exchanges with IBM are planned going forward including enhancing IBM knowledge of the Parliament as well as developing an induction programme for MSPs to understand their business and sector at the IBM site in Greenock . <<Back to news page |
