New Chief Executive at the helm

Arthur McIvor has been the Chief Executive of the SPBE since January 2008 and has hit the ground running taking the SPBE to a new level.

Originally with the Civil Service, Arthur then pursued a career with Royal Mail. Over a 20 year period he upheld various roles culminating in a Senior Management post managing some of Royal Mail’s most prestigious accounts.

A member of MPI he has most recently prior to appointment, developed a successful consultancy specialising in strategic business to business relationship development. Arthur now lives with his partner and their three boys in Edinburgh. His offi ce is on George Street in Edinburgh city centre..
