The Scottish Parliament & Business Exchange is
delighted to present an Energy Breakfast Briefing
with Keith Anderson, the Chief Corporate Officer
of ScottishPower. Mr Anderson will brief MSPs on
the challenges and opportunities facing Scotland’s
energy sector, detailing the investment the company
is making to develop wind, wave and tidal renewables
and meet the 2020 renewable energy target and the
multi-billion pound investment to improve Scotland’s
security of supply and develop a balanced, low carbon
mix of electricity generation.

Keith joined ScottishPower in 1999 and was appointed
as the first CEO of ScottishPower Renewables in
2004. He has delivered more than £1bn of investment
in renewables and is responsible for over 1,000MW of
installed onshore wind generation including Europe’s
largest onshore windfarm at Whitelee near Glasgow.
Keith is also responsible for Iberdrola’s global offshore
wind division which is based in Glasgow and will take
the opportunity to outline proposed developments in
Scotland, the UK and the European continent.
