Board Biography – Stephen Moir

Stephen Moir joined RBS in 2001 and in 2006 became the Group's Head of Community Investment.

RBS group has the second largest community investment programme of any European corporate. In 2007, the Group invested £57.7 million into the communities in which it works. The Group's community programme focuses on supporting employee giving and volunteering, financial inclusion and capability and enterprise.

Prior to joining the bank Stephen worked for a Government agency in the area of housing investment and regeneration and before that, a different government agency in the area of economic development.

Stephen is on the advisory board of Transact, the national financial inclusion forum.
