Board Biography – Linda McDowall
Appointed a Director of SPBE in 14 November 2008 .
Linda McDowall is the Senior Director, Business Networks and Communications for Scottish Enterprise and has responsibilities for the organisation's marketing and communications activity; customer relations – nuturing and supporting parliamentary, partner and key influencer relationships, and Scottish Enterprise's Global Relationships and International networks.
A graduate of Glasgow University , Linda joined Scottish Enterprise in march 2001 and has extensive knowledge and experience in both business and economic development. Her career has spanned both the public and private sector and she currently holds a variety of Board positions.
Linda likes to keep fit and enjoys running and sailing. As a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire she takes an active part in her local community.
