Board Biography – Hugh O'Donnell MSP

Appointed a Director of SPBE on 27 May 2003 .

Hugh is a member of the Scottish Liberal Democrats and is a member of the Equal Opportunities Committee, member of the Scottish Parliamentary Pension Scheme Committee and a Substitute Member of the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Committee.

Hugh has worked in the retail and property sectors, as a community care professional and as a college lecturer.

Hugh has also been involved with the Liberal Democrats for many years, standing for Westminster , Holyrood and councils in various areas before successfully being elected as MSP for the Central Scotland region. He also been a member of both the Scottish and federal policy committees and has held the position of vice convenor and treasurer of the Central Scotland Liberal Democrats.
